Rallying for disciples: Black lives Matter Too!

Overview

As Christians, Disciples identify themselves for their love one for one another. In anticipation of Christ’s soon return, Seventh-day Adventists believe that Black Lives Matter Too. Why? We are all created in the image and likeness of God.

Like you, we are concerned about the increase of violence, hate, and division in our country. We want healing for our members, members who we lost, and nonmembers as well. Instead of being known for our demographical differences, we choose to be known for our unity in Christ.

Come join us Saturday, July 18 at 7 p.m. (EDT) in Rallying for Disciples: Black Lives Matter Too virtual event. This coincides with Nelson Mandela International Day. We are starting at 7 p.m. in light of us being Seventh-day Adventists.

PURPOSE

The Rallying for Disciples: Black Lives Matter Too seeks the following:

  • Serve as a recruitment, retention, and reclamation rally for Adventist members in each state to support Black Lives Matter Too.
  • Enhance and strengthen the relationships between pastors and laity in regional and state conferences, and other faith communities in support of Black Lives Matter Too.
  • Increase awareness, interest, and engagement with the Seventh-day Adventists
